Ground Zero Fitness branches out to local sports teams….

The successful Fitness Company, Ground Zero Fitness, who brought their popular spin on a Boot Camp program to Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Wellington, is now using the same principles, energy and creativity to train young athletes.

Trainers, Rod Redzanic and James Adams are collaborating with Delray Beach Athletic Club (DBAC) and American Heritage School Delray to work with some of the area’s local soccer talent. DBAC Director of Coaching and American Heritage Girls Soccer Coach, Steve Burgess, decided to bring Ground Zero in after observing the work done by Redzanic and Adams. “I’m continually striving to introduce new and exciting training methods into my programs”, said Burgess, “and after observing the quality of work and the fun environment that Rod and James create, I was very eager to incorporate them into both Club and School.”

Karina Rodriguez, graduate of American Heritage and DBAC member, had this to say about the training program. “Ground Zero is an incredible fitness program that has helped me become a collegiate athlete at a whole new level.  It has helped me increase my physical strength, speed, and endurance.  Allowing me to not only pass my intense fitness tests that many collegiate athletes undergo, but has also improved my agility, coordination, and flexibility.  This training enabled me to be a successful soccer player at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.  I am very appreciative of all the support and motivation given to me by my trainer, Rod Redzanic.  If it weren’t for his training sessions and persistence I would probably be undergoing physical challenges and would not be in the best shape that I am. I would highly recommend the Ground Zero Fitness program to any collegiate athlete. It will not only improve your physical well-being, but improve your quality of life, attitude and energy level.”

Rod and James have been a big part of the Seacrest Soccer Complex, this is where they run Delray Boot Camps, as well as work with the soccer teams. GZF Trainers will also partner up with American Heritage School’s athletic department. They will train the girls’ soccer team throughout their 2011 – 2012 season. American Heritage has been ranked in the top 10 soccer High School teams in the nation for the past few years. The factor that makes GZF’s training approach so enticing is the manner in which Rod and James run the training program. They are highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, but most of all it is the energy and passion in their execution of the sessions that spark the interest of these young athletes.

“We are so thrilled to be working with these young and talented athletes,” states Rod Redzanic. “We have so much fun pushing our clients to go from ordinary to extraordinary with our Boot Camps, and now to have this opportunity, to work with dedicated soccer players, is right up our alley.”

GZF’s Sports Training program is appropriate for all sports, not just soccer. “We get a lot of interest from Lacrosse and Football players too,” James Adams explains.

“We work on everything from speed, agility, ACL prevention, and running techniques to strength building and muscle toning.” Ground Zero Fitness offers many fitness programs, Boot Camps, Corporate Training, and Sports Training. There truly is something for everyone, as long as the common goal is physical fitness.
